Ever since he was a young boy, company founder Alan Buchanan has been obsessed with biking in almost all it’s forms.
For almost 40 years, biking has given him some of the best (& worst) experiences life has to offer.
Coming from a motor trade background, Alan became self employed in 2002 dealing with second hand motorcycle fairing panels & parts, after a while trading he found that there was a steady demand for new parts so started a second company to satisfy this demand.
Smokn Limited has grown steadily over the years & now takes up most of his time with an ever expanding range of personally selected products, several of which he has tested himself.

After decades of road, track & off road riding, he has a broad knowledge & understanding of which products do the job & has even designed, developed & marketed some of his own which now sell worldwide.
Customer Service is an overused term these days but we believe that it’s still the most important component of a successful business that people want to keep coming back to.
We don’t have team of “dedicated staff” working for us & never will have, when you ask us for advice you’ll get a reply from a true enthusiast.
